At Present
The Mahoning Valley Blues Society is a organized group of Blues Lovers. We feel that there are a number of ways that the youth in this valley can be helped. The proceeds from our sale of the Entertainment Book will help us move some of these projects forward. Our "BUY A HARMONICA FOR A KID" promotion will hopefully put smiles on many children and also inprove awareness for the Blues Music. Our Objective At present this society is not a non profit corporation nor is it a 501c charity. The paragraphs below outline our plan and ask for your help. The Proposed Mahoning Valley Blues Society It is the intention of The Mahoning valley Blues Society to develop A Society Dedicated to the education, recognition, and promotion of Blues Artists and the Genre of the Blues in the Mahoning Valley. The Corporate Structure would be: NON PROFIT. The society is in need of qualified board members to supervise and direct the corporate growth. Please pass this along to anyone you would feel would be interested in this project . We need A sponsor venue for holding organizational meetings as well as fund raising events and jam sessions (open Mic) The society would appreciate the loan or donation of band equipment for events and members use. We need a experienced promoter to arrange fund raising events. We need volunteers to spread the word and help recruit members.
