Matthew Lomeo
Mohawk Valley Blues Society

Although he is now only in his early twenties, Matthew Lomeo's soulful vocals and dynamic harp-playing have been a major part of the central New York blues scene for over a decade.

With The Lomeo Brothers, he was the youngest performer ever to play at a Woodstock Festival (1999), and made appearances at Oswego's Harborfest, and the Chenango and Mohawk Valley Blues Festivals.

Lomeo is the featured vocalist on three tracks from New York City-based band The Summarily Dismissed's 2011 release, "To Each!" He recently has begun performing with the Syracuse-area outfit, The Funky Blu Roots.

In November 2012, Matthew became the host of WAER-FM's "Sunday Night Blues," Syracuse's historic radio broadcast. Matthew is gigging in acoustic duos and full bands, and he is working on releasing his first full-length solo album in 2013.
