2025 News & Events
The Mohawk Valley Blues Society started 2025 with some unfortunate financial news, after the loss of all of our funds due to theft. We shared the information with our membership, and turned the matter over to law enforcement. We then started a GoFundMe fundraiser to help us recover, and through the generosity of our members by the end of the year, we raised over $2,000 from this alone. Our members have also been extremely generous at all of our events with donations, as well as the silent auction that was held during the Front Porch Blues event at Unity Hall. We saw great opening sets from Tom Townsley's Blues Project, and The Alexis P. Suter Band! Unfortunately, Mother Nature intervened and forced a cancellation of The Darrell Nulisch Band's set after a severe thunderstorm rolled in from the lake.

Featuring current and past members of the MVBS Board of Directors, plus a few special guests. We also had a great response for our annual toy drive to benefit the Salvation Army, collecting over 100 toys!
